Memory card stuck in GH1. Disassembly necessary?

After a truly horrible weekend where I managed to lose a 600$ shoulder mount a memory card has now become lodged in my GH1.

The write protect switch had fallen off the card and I put it in the camera to check the status of the card.
It now won't fully come of out the body. I can push it in and it pops out a few millimeters as usual. It comes another few millimeters and then gets stuck.
No amount of gentle waddling it about has dislodged it so far.

Does anyone have any advice on resolving this?
Failing that a guide to disassembling a GH1 would be awesome.

Pull it hard or try to introduce a needle between the card and the camera to push the thing that is blocking it. If you don't do it properly it may damage your camera but it is already unusable as of right now so might as well save it.

This is a latent design flaw in the Panasonic SD card slot design. The spring-mounted pin that senses the missing write-protect tab latches into the groove in the side of the SD card and blocks it from being removed. If you forcibly extract the card, it will most likely damage the SD card slot. I had the same misfortune and it required sending the camera to Panasonic warranty repair for a motherboard replacement.

Interesting bit of info, thanks.

Luckily I managed to extract it safely this morning using an sd card shaped bit of thin plastic and a safety pin.
