Is Kingston Elite Pro 32 GB any good for shooting video? Anyone here who has used? Any problem with it?

Thanks

This is the perfect card for video on the 7D. I have two of them and I am looking into buying a couple more. I just think it's not the card you should use when you take raw pictures at the same time you shoot video.

Yes, you'll overrun your buffer and it will stop recording. But the card is GREAT for video. It's actually in Phillip Bloom's recommended products list as well.

Is there any card that can handle snapping a still while taking video without stuttering / dropping a few frames as a result?

I bought two, got lots of buffer warnings and about 6-10 instances when it stopped recording (on both cards), all within the first week of having my 7D. It is NOT a card you want to get, unless you don't care about ruining shots...

BTW, many others reported the same.

I got two Extreme III 16GB Scandisk cards and never got a single buffer warning with several months of use. I was among the first to get my 7D so it has been that long, I forget how long ago that was.

I've been using the Extreme III 16GB Sandisk as well. The only problem I've had is some stutter in AUTO when the camera shifts ISO on its own. (along with stutter when snapping a still during video recording, but as far as I know that's just inherent to the camera itself)
