Melody for Allyriane - A Cowboy Scene Film

Thanks Zaza! I'm looking forward to yours as well. You made tremendous progress last time, so I can't wait to see what you do this time.

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooow... woooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwww.... I have nothing to say... accept wow... No critiques... Its not my place to critique a god... That was magical.

Very, very well done Jason.

Love the feel thou some different lighting would have brought over the mood a bit better, but that´s just nickpicking.

And welcome to the fake closet club :)

Frank

btw also nice 12 string Epyphone you got there.

I think it's my turn to say "Wow." This is probably the nicest review I've ever gotten. I really appreciate it. It's very encouraging.

Thanks Frank! That's my guitar teacher Edward Jackson's guitar. He also wrote the song for the film.

This is one of a small handful of films that I saw that I think will prove to be a sleeper hit of the fest.

A well shot, simplistic piece with a lot of emotional depth to it. Your film was solid on all fronts, but I think you excelled particularly in story and execution of story.

I don't have too much to say at this moment. I want to go back and watch this one again, as you were an early upload and it's not as fresh on my mind after watching 40 some odd films after it. But, I did want to stop by while I have a moment and tell you thanks for sharing your work. Was a beautiful little story. I honestly enjoyed it quite a lot.

Jason

simple and effective. I still can't get the HVX to look this good. The acting was just spot on. I felt really bad for him. absolutely zero complaints about this one. Great film Jason!

Jason, thank you for all your kind words, but for this especially. I can't think of a better compliment for a filmmaker to receive.

Thanks so much filthrich!

Dude, I have very little to say, so you know how well this is received in my camp. Solid piece of work. ****ING SOLID. I enjoyed it. I felt it. You almost made me cry.

And now we know how to pronounce her name. Thanks for such a solid entry. PHENOMENAL work.

Great piece of work here!!! Allyriane is so beautiful.. how could one forget her or her name? ;-)

The story is kinda sad...

This was truly lovely.

The story was great and so were your actors.

I especially loved how you cut back and forth between past and present.

I'm not even sure why, but I totally connected with this film.

Definitely, one of my favorites so far.

Dug it! This was really good. Love the way the actors interacted. Very well done.
Sad story.

This one was very touching and the story/actors sold it.
Not much else to say.

Great job!

Yep just to add, the mod already mentioned this maybe being a sleeper hit in the fest - and that wouldn't surprise me!

It had a dark and slightly eerie tone to its 'loss' representation, and i found myself sympathising with the characters hopelessness in the situation. It had a dreamlike quality also (or should that be a nightmare - almost supernatural /neo-gothic) element that I liked too.

So a good movie mon amie well done.
