Bruce, a full feature is outlined, but this is all that is filmed for a contest. Two pages of much deeper interesting dialog was cut to fit the expected 2 minute time frame. I would use real sets if I ever get money to do it. This was a fast, no budget shot and the background cheat kinda worked, but not preferred.

Wow i thought it was green screen at first...so you did the Nolan projection (interstellar) type of approach...how long did it take to knock out...was it just one day at the office?
about a 4 hour shoot with the actors, one evening. all lines taken seperately for logistics. filmed, but cut two pages of deep dialog for time.
Wanted to add a ton more reflective lighting for the helmet scenes: extra screens reflecting etc, but time was not my friend.
There was a ton of options using a background TV -- I could have managed the brightness and colors better to match lighting. But using it to cheat focus DOF was a lot of fun!
The model shooting took around 3 hours of shooting, after the 3 evenings of building it.
My edit was 3 days. I'm slow I guess.
