Maybe YOU can help!

Hi,
First off I'd like to tell you all that I've been scouring the search section for days to find help on my own, but with no luck.

Anyways, I just bought a Duel Adapter for my 17" Macbook Pro to offload P2 cards. I'm running OSX 10.4.10 Intel Combo update, have installed the duel adapter driver, as well as the AJ-PCD20 driver, and the P2 driver off the CD. I've also repaired permissions on my comp.

My computer recognizes the Duel adapter when I pop it in (I get the symbol in the top bar), but it does not recoginize the P2 card itself. I get no icon on the desktop and no other reaction from my computer.

I'm hoping someone out there can tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong because this is getting very frusterating and I'm wasting way too much time trying to solve this.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes there is footage currently on the card.

I am using an 8GB P2 card, should that make a difference in which driver I download?

I am up to date on the DA drivers.

Just asking to make sure, but you do know that the duel adapter has a mac/pc switch on it and you should make sure you are in mac mode.

I re-installed the mac driver and everything seems to be working fine, it's funny because I already had that driver installed, but it's all working good now. Thanks for your help guys.

El Veltro can you go over the sequence you did to get it to work on your Mac? I have a MBP and I can see the Express card, via system profiler, but will not see the P2. I've loaded the driver several times. Both from download off Pana web page, and CD.

Ho...
