AC160 Maximum length of SDI, HDMI, & Firewire

We just started to use our AC-160a and I have been asked to put together a plan to add a second 160a to do live streaming. My question is about maximum lengths for the output types. That is, the computer that will be connecting to the internet will be about 30 feet from the cameras. One will be 30 feet to the left, the other will be 30 feet to the right. As you know, the output types are SDI, HDMI, & Firewire (and composite). We are currently using FW at 10 feet away, but I am thinking we should move to SDI. One issue we have is that we would like to broadcast live and also be able to record to memory cards. That is not possible with Firewire, but will be with SDI. So, does anybody know what the distance limitations are for each of the three outputs?

If you are doing a live stream, I would use SDI as the connector locks on. HDMI connections are very touchy. I think HDMI can go 30-50 feet where SDI is in the hundreds of feet. Hopefully others will comment with the hard facts. :)

Do you have a switcher that can handle HDSDI streams/connections?

SDI is designed for long run distances in broadcast facilities. It depends on the quality and type of coax you use, but up to 750 feet is possible.
Firewire distance limit is about 15' without extenders, again depending on the quality of your cable.
Practical limit for HDMI without extenders is about 75 feet. This depends on the cable quality and whether your input at the end reclocks the signal or not. But the cables that will reliably transmit those distances cost around $200. Beyond that the cables that work reliably cost so much a CAT5/6 twisted pair extender set is actually cheaper.
