Matt Sconce- Stricken

LOL! I think it is hilarious that my thread has drpped to 4 stars. The gobs of BTS pictures, Stills from the movie, Color Correction before and afters, Noise Removal Tutorials, Storyboard samples, music links, BTS videos, Blooper Reels, and a step by step walkthrough of my process, must not be that important. *Sigh*

Oh well. I am still up in the air as if Jarred will let me movie be shown as it is for exhibition, and is longer than the others, and that I do not want it on the DVD. We will see. If he says Yes, you get to see it, if he says no, then I apologize, for getting you all worked up and involved in the process. I bet he will say yes though, because he wants us to learn from our attempts and become better at what we do. I will let you know.
 
How many other films are beyond the 6 minute mark? I think you maybe the only one. Perhaps another? I know a few have dropped out completely, so I dunno. Regardless, I really want to see your film. Specially after all the bTs and bs. :)

My original cut of Catherine is around 10 minutes long. And thats still the cut im going to keep. With my partners help we managed to make a cut for the Horrorfest that is exactly 6 minutes long, including a 1frame credits
 
Don't worry about dropping stars Matt... happened to Jack's thread, and mine... some people are lame... oh well.
 
Hey I sent my Door Between this morning (greek time) and its for exhibtion only! I pm'd Jarred yesterday and he was cool. Just a .mov file for download by the dvxusers,no mpg and no entry form.

So send it!!

I've done everything i know to do and I dont have any stars :( I dont even know how to get them or give them out:( I'm very depressed now... ok not really how does one get stars?


ha! I just found iT....top drop down box thing... guess i dont pay attention... i think that was what my mom said... but i wasn't paying attention...
 
to give them, when in a thread, go to 'rate this thread' at the top
to get them, i dont care about getting them, even if i did my best to put up the best thread, people who KNOW would rate it in their mind

Thanks dude! I look forward to seeing your first fest film!!! I hope you enjoy Stricken. Leo gardini outdid himself on the score. it freakin rocks, and the movie turned out beautiful. Sometimes, while watching it, I forget I shot it. It is all a blur in my memory of No sleep and Taco bell Runs.

I did the chicken wing run.. its amazing how many ways you can cook a chicken wing.. taco bell and mikey dont get along well....(something about green vapor......)
 
I swear some folks are just jealous & purposely rate threads lower stars to try & pull 'em down. I'd LOVE it if it showed who voted what stars ... it'd probably weed out the ones that were trying to just lower a thread, and or they'd be up for questioning to explain why they thought it was a 1-2 star thread, etc.

For me, this was a five star all the way, if for no other reason than being able to see that SWEET noise removal from AE. :thumbsup:

Even if you weren't allowed to be in exhibition because of the bandwidth, you could still host it yourself, or if you needed the room I'd gladly host it for you.

Matt, I am so looking forward to your film. I haven't visited your thread in a while because I didn't want the ending spoiled.

I have downloaded both of your videos (bloopers and BTS) and intend on watching them after I see STRICKEN.

Can't wait!!!!
