Awesome, break a leg! I mean um... good luck!

Well, the shoot went...................................absolutely great! I know I promised no more stills, but if one happens to sneak into this post, do not blame me....They are sneaky little things! I am starting editing on the movie soon now that I have all the coverage needed. I will keep you updated!

Best yet.
Are the faking driving while you move lights outside the car?
(like they did in Frailty)
How'd you get that lighting?

They are just "Pulling in" to the house. I have two 1000 watt Briteks, Back lighting the rain, and I have one 1000 watt Britek shining straight through the Windshield.

I think mebbe they drove up into the shot.

but ... hmmm ... where's the door ... so mebbe not.

It is not a moving shot. That would have rocked, but this is after they have pulled in and she turns off the car. hehe:)

Well, I have looked through the footage and there are several effects shots, and one low light shot I will look into further. I am trying to see if we need a pickup shot day. So far, so good, everything is turning out great! I start the actual editing tomorrow.

happy editing!

Most of it is happy. :) Almost all the Shots are great! I am going to need to do one pickup shot and a voice over in one section. other than that, so far so good. I am at 9 minutes and still going strong. i am betting on a wrap length of 15 min with credits...possibly 20. This is EXactly what I hoped for. I will keep you updated. I am working on a mirror FX shot right now and I am interested to see how it turns out.

Awesome stuff Matt... Looking forward to seeing some stuff soon.

Well, I just got the first cut together, and I decided to see how "Scary" the film actually was. I wanted to inspire chills and a feeling of "Oh Crap". I put the Music From Halloween behind it and sat down to watch it this morning. I knew what was coming and by the end, I had massive chills and a tear of "Oh Crap" in my eye. I am VERY pleased. Now just for the pickup shots, Color grading, sound editing, final cutting, ADR, and figuring out if I want to use noise reduction. (I am trying to decide if I want a Smooth clean look or slightly gritty). See ya guys!

Nice man! It's always awesome to see your film, and it turns out how you wanted! IMO I'd go for the gritty look :) I think the film lends itself to that!

I am thinking the same thing.

Despite my previous claims...here are some more screen shots, cause I'm loving it! :)
