C100: Matching looks between C100mkii and 60D

Any advice on good setting for both of these cameras to match color and overall look between them?

It's not just color though, prepare for the fact that the C100 is going to look noticeably sharper than the 60D.

Yeah. The 60D doesn't do C-Log though. So should I shoot standard profile for each? I normally shoot Neutral on the 60D. But I don't see that on the C100.

In theory, Standard on your 60D should be pretty close to EOS Standard on your C100MKII, but I would do some testing. Jbregar is correct though, the 60D will be much softer.

Honestly my preferred method is to get my 7D as close to my final image as possible, and then grade my C-Log footage to match it.

You really shouldn't shoot "flat" on the DSLR's. They just aren't designed to be pushed/pulled as much as the Cinema Series cameras and things can fall apart fast in grade.

If you need the cameras to match straight away with no time for grading, my suggestion again would be again to get your 60D to where you want it, and then start tweaking your Color Matrix in your C100 MK II to match your 60D. You'll need a monitor with a vectorscope built in ideally with feed from both cameras. You should set aside a whole day and ask a mate to stand in to do that kind of in-camera tweaking.

Yeah I already noticed that. The C100 is doing a true downsampling. Full color. But that's ok. The 60D is just a b-cam to have an alternative looking shot. But I'd still like to the get the color close, even if not exact.

I don't have enough experience yet shooting log footage. I'm a little hesitant for this shoot. Not a lot of time to test beforehand.

I don't. I shot cinestyle a couple times and never really cared for the final result after grading. Skin tones just seemed off still.
