C100: Matching FS100 with C100?

Does anybody know if the Sony FS100 can match (as possible) C100 WDR? Does someone try to do that? I mean the picture of the camera in the camera not in post.
Thanks!

I sold my FS100 a couple of years ago, but from what I recall about that camera getting the colors to match will be a nightmare, especially the reds. DR is probably close though, with the C100 giving you a bit more. However, the C100 profiles are pretty flexible. If you want to get under the hood, you may be able to get close to the FS100 but not the other way around, but it will take some work for sure.

You might be able to match those "in camera" by using some sort of standard rec709 profile, though it won't be close. Different manufacturers, different sensors, DR, white balance interpretations, lenses. I could continue to add more to that list :)

FWIW, WDR is based on Rec709. If you understood that alphabetti spaghetti, beer to you. We should get out more.

I'd keep the FS100 on STD matrix and gamma - check out the slightly ageing http://bit.ly/fs100pp and try 'Matt's SafePP' - this was as close as I got with the C100, but the C100 had more detail and far better highlights (which is why I bought it). Basically, keep the FS100 bland and don't overdo the sharpening.
