Shooting in Log it's obviously pretty easy to match in post. But I've had to match 709 looks quite a lot lately. Here's what seems to work the best for me on set when both cameras were set to 4k. Anyone else have a variant they like?

C300mk2 to Alexa 709
Gamma: Wide DR
Colors space: DCI-P3 Gamut
Color Matrix: Production Camera
Sharpness -8
White Balance adjust: Red -6
White balance +400 compared to Amira

For Rec 709 I use...

Gamma: Wide DR
Colors space: DCI-P3 Gamut
Color Matrix: Video
Sharpness 0

I just tested the Production Camera matrix again, and judging by the camera LCD, I find it less saturated than what my eye sees. EOS Standard looks overly saturated. Video looked closest to my eye.

Why do you turn sharpness down? Do you plan to add it back in post, or you just don't like sharp footage?

Actually the Production matrix was designed to emulate the Alexa look.

By default, AMIRA/ALEXA materials are very soft and organic.

I'm not a fan of overly sharp footage. I think there's a difference between relosution and sharpness. Canon/Sony/Panasonic tend be be sharper than Arri/Red. When I'm shooting narrative 9 out of 10 times I'm diffusing the lense to cut the digital edge off.

If you just set it to the production matrix I've found that the mk2 has a red biased especially in skin tones compared with the Amira/Alexa that tend to skew cooler green. Hence the - Red in this setup.
