Matching C300 and 5D MK III footage

Is there any difficulty in matching C300 C-Log footage with 5D MK III neutral or cinestyle profile footage? My company recently invested in one of each camera with the idea that the 5D MK III would be a good B-cam for the C300, but I haven't had the chance to drag both of them into the studio and do some tests yet and was just wondering if anyone had general pointers in that regard.

Shoot the 5D III in neutral with the contrast and saturation reduced -2 to -4. White balance both cameras together and that should get you close enough to color correct in post. The 5D will never be as sharp but if you use it for closeups it will match better. The most important pointer is take the time to do your own testing.

+1 here...especially the comment about close up's. MKIII isn't up to snuff resolution wise compared to the C300 but if you let that lack of resolution focus on the detail in CU's you'll get something very nice and should intercut well. Save the C300 for the wides and shots where the added DR would benefit.
