If I had a C300, I would do the same but what I was talking about is after you edit (let's say in CS6 on Win7), what mastering codec do you use to deliver? Uncompressed is huge...really huge. Is it ProResHQ on Macs and DNxHD on Windows? Is Cineform a contender? What do you deliver to a TV station? What for the big screen?
Oh, I totally misunderstood the thread title. Generally, we master in DNxHD for archiving and then pass the master through some crazy exporting systems that I don't know the name of to generate .mp4 files for YouTube and other platforms. ProRes is a Mac thing, but DNxHD is not a Windows thing -- it's an Avid thing.
