Cool caps, the first one I almost expect to see Scarlett O'Hara silhoutte as she says "As God as my witness, I'll never be hungry again" or something like that.
There seems to b e mixed opinion on favorite grabs, which is good. It only shows that all of your grabs are well done because everyone finds something they like in 'em. My favorite one is the 3RD one.. Has that Sleepy hollow and Alice in the wonderland feel. Of course it's totaly different scenario..lol.. I just love the blacks on it and the perspective kicks ass..I can see a headless horseman running out from the end of the tunel.
Keep up good work. I hope you can make some little narrative piece out of this..

lol my screen was to dark..ok it's not a tunnel but a little dark bush..doh...but if you turn your contrast and brightness down I swear it looks just like it. Btw I really enjoyed all of them...And I just finished watching 'Cold Mountain' and esthetically you're almost whooping its boootey.lol
This is hilarious, maybe I should start a poll This also demonstrates the vast difference in how people look at things and what appeals to them. Thanks for the comments.
I particularly liked "The Village 2", Scarlett O' Hara, and headless horseman comments.
No anamorphic used, in-camera squeeze, 24pa and then matted to 2:35 ratio.
I'm going to make several trips to this park over the next couple of weeks and put a short piece together.
I use a screen grab program called SnagIt!. I just select the actual footage in my NLE monitor window and get a screen grab image.. That way, I don't have to worry about the wrong aspect or pixel dimensions that I usually have to deal with when I do a regular frame grab from the NLE itself. SnagIt! allows you to save files in a number of formats.
Or if you have PS just hit the "print screen" key on your keyboard. Go into PS and select "New". Notice the dimentions are already set. Click OK then paste. Easy as pie....
