Marshall Monitor...does the focus assist really work?

I am looking to get a monitor for my T2i. I know that it doesn't do the HD output while recording like the 7D, so I am wondering if this works good enough to get good focus while recording on a rig/moving shots.

Does anyone have experience w/ the marshalls that do this? Also, does the exposure feature work well?

I would say the exposure works great on the Marshall. It has a very clean picture via HDMI input from the 7D. Peeking is harder since it even shows out of focus objects as in focus. I'll try it tomorrow when I have a shoot for Koskenkorva vodka brand.
