Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Working title.

We need a great working title!

As soon as we have one I can contact one of the CDs that I know and we can get breakdowns out so we can start getting submissions back. We will need some sides for the auditions, but this isn't a difficult thing to handle at all. I can line up a proper casting facility and we can start assembling a cast. This type of film is all about choosing the right cast.

This is so formulaic that I could easily layout each and every step of the process.

If we do it right, we will have a film to sell by the next AFM!

We'll have a story meeting later this week. I have some working title ideas but don't want to share them here and would prefer doing so over a bottle of good wine so I can pitch them properly.

I heard great things about the casting location you used for Thou Shalt Not. Perhaps we go back there again?

This may be where my Playboy Publications connections finally end up being useful for more than getting on the list for the mansion parties. We GOTTA have really stellar eye candy in this one.

Fine, I'll just go make my own giant robot movie. With hookers. And Blackjack.

On second thought, forget the giant robot movie and the blackjack...

I totally dug it Mark and Ted. I love the building of entensity at the end. I loved the turben shots. I'm glad you ended it the way you did. I think that was the right choice for the six minute version. I felt sad, and that is good. You kept me into the story the whole time and then tugged at my heart. Keep it up guys, you got a good thing going.

Hey man, you know what I think of Ajar. So your kind words are especially appreciated. You are one hell of a film maker, David.

I agree :)

Mark and Ted, thank you for your comments on TKARS. I responded to your reviews in my thread - go check it out.

I'll be reviewing TTN soon!

Ditto Mark. Believe it or not, You and Ted inspired me on this one. Seeing your drive and ambition made me push a little harder. So I thank you guys for that. I still want to be like you.

oh man, Jerome. I'm taking notes from YOU. I still remember seeing that chair in your thread and I realized you were off the hook fresh. Of course, I'm a huge huge fan of Sonic Man so I knew you'd kick ass. BUT the originality was totally off the scale for me.

I am taking inspiration from you and am going to get back out there shooting before this month is over. Doing it is what it is all about.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely in for the Giant Robot movie... all I ask is that I get more than 2 lines...

Let me know if you guys are going to have a development meeting at Blaine's or a random Chili's... :)

Great locations, and cinematography. Top notch! I would have liked to feel more connected to Eric, as I felt like more of an outsider watching the events unfold; I was never able to get into the film as a viewer. (One of my biggest weaknesses as well.) And some of the green screen work felt unnatural to me- especially the profile view of Eric in the cockpit. Other then that you guys did a great job! Keep it up! Can't wait to see more from you guys!
