Manual or AF lenses?

I just ordered a 7d (pretty excited) just wondering if there was any difference or drawbacks using manual or AF lenses when shooting video? is either one better? Also I have a bunch of manual focus Nikon Lenses, was wondering how using a Nikon adapter works with the camera, and if there are any drawbacks.

The camera cannot autofocus continuously while recording video, so even if you had AF lenses, you'd be using them as manual in video mode. I can see no drawbacks of using manual lenses while shooting video.

AF lenses also have focus rings, or almost all do. That's what you want.

I'm not sure what you mean here...

The manual focusing mechanisms on MF lenses tend to be superior to those on AF lenses.

The USM Canons will let you AF...start recording...manually focus without having to throw the AF/MF switch. Kinda nice to at least start a shot in focus. ;-)
