REVISED: This meeting is being rescheduled for March 5th or 6th

Upstairs at "Good Stuff" restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Saturday the 19th at 3:00 p.m. For an informal meet and great.
Surprize guest speaker. He is a producer who has been working on a history making DVX project involving at least 11 cities in two countries. The project is coming to L.A. For a 3 day shoot at the end of March. He is looking for crew so bring your resumes if you are interested.

unfortunately I don't get off until 6:00 pm Mon-Sat
but I'm glad to see that somebody is serious about setting up a meet and greet

Elvis, you know you can count me in on that. Anyway to make the meeting sooner though? Kinda cuts right through the middle of the day.

If not, I'm still there.

Will bring a fellow-soon-to-be-DVX-User as well.
Too bad it's gonna' rain this weekend. The beachbabes won't be out in shirts and tank tops this weekend. haha.

I will be solo by the time he comes to town, definitely going to have my reel/resume ready by then.

This meeting is cancled do to illness. But please let me know if you are interested in attending a meeting in the South Bay.

Every time i see this Manhattan beach thing i think it is in Brooklyn New York

Did your beach get named after Brooklynz Manhattan Beach or the other way around

I wouldn't be able to make weekday meets for about another month. :( Also, not sure about whoever else can make it... but anyone working in Santa Monica, or inland towards Burbank, or Hollywood who gets out between 5-7pm... will have to factor in an hour or more drive during the week.

Yo Stitch and Elvis...I'll be down that way on Sunday the 27th doing that feature shoot. Rehearsals have been in Hermosa Beach, but the shoot is in Gardenia. Maybe we can have a mini-meet?

Hey that would be cool. Gardena's like 10 min from Hermosa.
If I don't get called in to do the Oscar work that night (I'll know by Friday) I'll definitely show up.

What time do you have to be on set antOmic? STITCH what would you be doing at the Oscars?

i'm down in gardena for setup on sat, and starting the shoot sun at 10am til possibly midnight.

Won't know for sure until Thursday. I may have to shoot an event if the camera guy they have planned, doesn't get back into the states in time.

Hey can you guys bring your reels? It would be cool to see everyone's stuff for a show and tell.
