Minutes from the meeting:
Stitch and Jim arrive and see Elvis.
Shoot the shiznit about DVX and production in general.
antOmic shows up, shoot the shiznit about DVX and production in general.
Eat lunch (Thanks for lunch Elvis!)
Everyone gets up at least once to check out the cute red-head that was checking out antOmic earlier. haha! I STILL think she wishes you were the Tony she was meeting up with haha.
4 DVXuser.com members go to the next room (sun as still out) looked awesome.
Then, show and tell.
Stitch busts out his 10" G3iBook
Then antOmic busts out his 15" poerbook.
We wind up using that, and watch everyone's work for the next hour or so. NICE stuff guys! It's great to see different styles and work. Show and tell regarding footage and movies.
Talk about DVXUser.com some more.
Well, it was a pleasure meeting up! Was great to be able to see your guy's stuff! Especiallly at high resolution!
antOmic, great effort on Poker Night once again. And I LOVE the outtake reel of your new project. HAHAHAHAH!!!!
Elvis, thanks for putting the effort to bringing this one together. I know it wasn't a huge turnout, but regardless, I still had fun and gained some inspiration to enter this month's contest. Also it was cool to talk about how you guys lit your stuff.
Can't wait for the next one. Seeing all the different types of footage and projects with this camera still amazes me.
I will see ask my friends Monday if we can still get that studio in Burbank and Miracle Mile if we can start getting meetings there.
But honestly, I thought Good Stuff was a great location. The beach weather was pretty relaxing!
Great meeting you guys. Welcome to the dvxuser group Jim now go shoot something! AntOmic are you home yet? I'm telling you, you are a director. Thanks for making the long drive. Did anyone get a parking ticket?
My bad I forgot to tell you to park in Good Stuffs parking lot, it's free. I also love our diffrent styles in shooting. Stitch thanks for suggesting the show and tell. I look forward to the next L.A. meeting.
Thanks again for putting the whole thing together Elvis. And for picking up the tab. No ticket either. All around success, except the red head's date showed up. Too funny her blind date's name was Tony too! HAHA. I was afraid she thought I just bailed on my blind date with her when I said she had the wrong Tony. What are the odds?
No tickets here either! Great lunch, thanks again Elvis.
HAHAHA! I was just thinking about that. She's probably all... "Oh ****... He must think I am nasty! I must go home and cry now" and got a complex!!! hahaha. well... maybe she thought that for a few minutes at least.
That guy (Tony #2) definitely got minus points. She was there for awhile before he showed up. The whole time, she's probably going.. "Dangit... I wish it was him!" lol.
Also, Elvis, I talked to my audio guy and PMmed you his info. He's looking foward to your call.
antOmic, definitely going to heed your advice and do more slow and steady shots/editing type of piece. Also going up it to 30p for these next events.

And yet, I'm sitting here at home all alone, and Tony#2 is prolly planning breakfast. :'(
