Like an idiot, I somehow managed to get a manfrotto super clamp 1/4" 20 threaded stud stuck in the 1/4" 20 thread on the handle. I think i might have screwed it in at an angle when installing, and I cannot seem to get it off no matter what i try. Tried unscrewing at an angle, etc all that, won't come off. its loose, but just not unscrewing. Any ideas? Here's a pic:

Knock-er-Loose, a pair of Vice Grips and man up. Have a tap ready to repair the damage you are likely to do.

You may have maimed the small tapped plate, but you could possibly avoid potential collateral damage to the handle by removing the 4 screws on the plate and remove that before trying to extract the stud from it. At least you'd then only have to replace the plate and not anything else that's connected.

Ben.

The stud has no threads innermost on the screw... sounds like you have screwed it through the plate's thread and it now is loose to turn inside... You should hopefully be able to catch the thread by simply pulling the stud while turning?
