Manfrotto 523PROi LANC question

Hi all ... just got the Manfrotto 523PROi LANC controller for the A1/S cams and I notice when you turn the cams off at the controller, its power goes off but of course the cams dial is still set at the last operating position.

If you then unplug the controller at the cam, do the cams power up again?

Has anyone done this .. is it a no no?

Never had a problem - it's like when the cam does a power down after not being used for a few minutes. Not sure of any long-term effects but certainly no immediate ones have ever been noticed
