Manfrotto 521PFI on AG-AF101,

the Manfrotto 521PFI works with the AG-AF101 (http://theeditman.com/blogg/2011/01/27/ElectronicFocusAndIrisForTheAF101.aspx).

But will it also work with the GH1 or Gh2?

I don't know why people continue to think the AF100 and GH2 have any relationship, other than their lens mount being the same.

In this case I thought it could work out, because the 521PFI only controlls funtions that are also normal stills camera funtions. And why should there be a different pinout/protocoll for products from the same company?

Is there another tool, that does the same as the 512PFI but will work on a GH1?

Because they're not the same company. One is Panasonic Broadcast, the other is Panasonic Consumer. No shared employees, no shared facilities, I don't even think they're located in the same city.

Ok, got your point Barry. I just forgot that userfriendly and simple solutions are against some big company business rules that normal people don't understand

Is there a device that gives remote controll of the important functions of a GH1? (aperture, fokus?, start/stop,..)
