GH2 Making the GH2's tripod/mount hole stronger?

I just hope I can convey what I'm trying to say here...

So whenever I rig up my GH2 on a base plate with follow focus, the friction is never strong enough that any moderate force would nudge the camera off centre... not good for follow focusing. The base of the GH2 is just too smooth.
Is there anyway that we could make it more stable? Like maybe adding rubber at the bottom to increase friction? It would be great if the GH2 had two tripod holes...

And boom... mcbob's your uncle :-) That is a great suggestion and a heck of a lot cheaper than my solution.

The issue is, the camera tripod socket protrudes past the bottom of the body so when on a hard surface it stops the base of the camera from making solid contact with the adapter. I have the same issue with my new rig and FF. To fix mine i recessed the rig base with a drill bit so the protrusion fits into the recess.

I got a 2-pack of 1.25" rubber washers at Lowes for about $0.50. Works great for adding extra friction between baseplate and camera.
