thanks for the critque Life4eva. Really appreciate your time. I have more stuff on my vimeo page.
On the contrary all the slow mo was 60p and conformed to 24p in Premiere. Why did you think it was software? I've never used software for slo mo though i've always wanted to try it out.
The sky...i'm not 2 sure I could have done much about that. Maybe a grad filter? Or expose a bit more for the sky...but with just reflectors on hand it may not have done the job bringing up the faces. What would you suggest?
i'll listen to the end of the song again....as i could have sworn i faded it out. thanks for the heads up dude.
thanks again for the look.
It was a really fun shoot...as being all handheld it was really liberating.
edit: Life4eva...i think i see why you think the slo mo was software...that shot is actually jump cut to the beat. I wanted his feat to hit the ground on each "beat". So parts of the shot are cut out. If you see the other slow mo walking shot at the end (3.02)....thats a normal shot, meaning i didnt jump cut it or anything.
My mistake and you are correct! Skies are so difficult to nail, I have been using a Magic Bullet Looks Gradient filter though that helps and is very cool. Regardless those were nitpicks and No matter what you delivered an excellent project, I would like to see you shoot some more Music Videos.
