C300: MAGN and Green Outline

I have three questions;

1. Is there a way to adjust the MAGN to get much closer to the subject for focusing when you press the button?

2. I hook up a second monitor but when I press the MAGN button it won't work on the second monitor only on the C300 monitor, is there a way to have it work on both? As you know the C300 monitor is only 4" and kind of a pain to focus with.

3. Is there a way to get a green outline when the object is in focus? (not sure how to explain that one).

Thanks

I think the C300 has a default 2X magnification. Some monitors/recorders are able to punch-in more, but the image falls apart and is barely usable IMO.

The magnification feature doesn't transfer over via HDMI/SDI to an external monitor. But most new external monitors (even ones for $100) have some sort of magnification feature of their own.

The color peaking is available in white, red, yellow and blue. Not sure green ever made the list.

I think you can adjust the 2X magnification (or whatever it is) to also turn to black and white and have color peaking when you turn it on to make focusing a bit easier.
