I know this has been brought up before in other threads but I haven't seen a thread dedicated to it. As the ML thread reaches an intimidating 115 pages, it just makes more sense to set up a sub forum. The way it is now discourages people from searching for answers because they need to sort through page after page for any info. Mods? Any chance you'll throw us a bone here?

I don't know, just a thought!
 
As it stands, I cant see any compelling reason to create a sub forum for it. But, I may be looking at it a bit superficially. Its firmware for cameras that already have forums? Feel free to enlighten me.
 
definitely sticky but theres no need to make forums for it,actually i would throw all canons into canon forum like panasonics are right now.Theres too much of this and sometimes i dont remember where some posts were.
 
Any readers of that thread should do what I did. Read the entire thing and check every other day our so they can be up to date. The magic lantern wiki page is also a great resource.

I do that as well.

I guess it does make more sense to use the google groups or the wikipage.
 
You guys are right, a sticky would be better. But 115 pages is a ton of stuff to go through just if someone wants to find a decent installation walkthrough. Maybe an instructions sticky?
 
April updates?

April updates?

I haven't seen any magic lantern updates for the 550D/T2i since the April Fool flip? Prior to this there used to be two or three releases each week. Can someone please let me know what has changed or if there have been any ml updates since then and where they can be downloaded now. Oops I just saw the April 23rd release.
