So I'm kinda confused about what to set the magic lantern T2i analog and digital gain settings for use with the rode videomic. What is the most common audio settings?
Thank you very much, I love this forum!!!

Yes, this is why audio monitoring is key. The point of "killing" AGC with ML was to avoid it being set automatically. But the reason Canon had it there automatically in the first place was so that you wouln't have to deal with this. The gain was supposed to be automatically raised or lowered depending on the audio in your scene. If there was some "magic number" to leave it at, Canon would have left it there instead of implementing AGC.

So, congratulations, you've disabled doing it the automatic way. Now be prepared to do it the manual way!
If you want good sounding audio, be prepared to adjust per scene just as you do for exposure, white balance, and aperture.
