Magic Lantern AGC fix?

at this point I record with a Sennheiser G2 lav set, and clean afterwards in post with Izotope Rx(decent job), but AGC control would be nice on 7d.

Stoiga, I wouldn't want to have varying levels of noise in my audio, I can't shoot like that. Also I want something simple, as in already there, in the footage. I am sure the recording and digitizing will be good enough, so using it with a Sound Devices preamp together with wireless transmission to the camera is my dream workflow, or with the mic mounted. The only thing that would make it better would be if Magic Lantern could also push out a monitoring signal out of the other socket there, the AV, but I'll take the mixer monitoring and bars over having to deal with an external recorder and having to match the stuff, no matter how simple it may be. This works perfect for me and I am sure many other would agree that for little run and gun low budget projects with short turnaround this would be ideal. You can always add a second system as needed.

2009-10-02 being the last update scares me. Does anyone know if he's moved on to bigger and better things/too busy/tired of it?

no, he is busy working on it still and making progress. He updated some theads last weekend.

how well does this work could you provide a before and after video of a video with agc that you have cleaned up please. if it warrents the price i will buy it.
