Mac-PC Spoof Ads

The only real problem I had with any of these were that they tend to imply that PC people have no regard for intellectual property...i.e. MAC won't "share" the music. In the end, the commercials aren't really made for the computer savvy...those people usually do more research before deciding what they need for a computer. They are aimed at the general population who knows no better than to get all their information from a television commercial.

Whether you're a MAC or a PC user doesn't matter as long as the computer does what you need it to do. Unless of course, you are one of those people that WOULD NEVER USE PRODUCT X. Morten, you know who you are, so I won't mention your name...oops...

HAHAHAHA. I watched more of them. They're great. People need to learn to laugh. I love macs but this was good solid parody. Good timing. Let's all make our landlords one of those 'cool movies' hahaha.

How many Apple employees does it take to change a light bulb?
7
One to change the bulb, and six to design the t-shirt.

How many Micorsoft emplyees does it take to change a light buld?
1
But it won't be ready to turn on until 2010.

I am a huge Mac guy.

I loved the spoofs. Funny and accurate (at least about the users) IMHO. And I think the itunes thing was getting at how apple is so proprietary about the music you do pay for and download. You can't necessissarily copy it to your own Zune for example.

Remember that comedy often makes fun of a stereotype. Sometimes even for the sake of questioning the validity of a stereotype.

No one is saying that these should be taken as a documentary about each group of users ... just spoof.

EDIT: lol, just realized I accidently ressurected an almost 4 month old thread.

Oy.... not this again.

Good work Norm..... but cmon guys its a computer.... not a religous experience (in either direction, Mac PC WHO CARES!!!!!!!!)

Whatever it was, those videos seemed to stir up some commotion (in a good way) most of them were around the 100,000 views range...

I bought Apple stock less than a year ago at $53 a share, today it closed above $109. My spreadsheets done on a Mac look pretty great these days. Can't really say that about Microsoft.

That PC guy must be one of the six people that bought a Zune.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
