M43 that new of a mount?

I ordered an M43 to fd adapter, but its taking FOREVER to get here. I have everything else for my camera but that, and without that its useless since I didn't get the kit lens. I'm trying to find some camera shop in GA to just buy one from, so I can use my new camera tonight for a shoot... no luck yet. I didn't think it was that rare of a mount.

I wouldn't say it is a rare mount, the FD to M43 is probably the most commonly used of the Micro Four Thirds adapters and there are tons of them available on the internet.

Personally, I have ordered six of them for various friends and myself. I usually order from a supplier who sells on eBay and is based out of New Jersey so they get here much quicker than ordering from one of the dozens of Chinese based sellers.

The seller I buy from is http://shop.ebay.com/cam2_usa/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340

It does seem that brick and mortar stores locally haven't caught on to the whole Micro Four Thirds market yet though. I can't find a single store in my city that sells any of the cameras, let alone adapters.

I've seen a few GF1's, plus quite a few G2's and G10's, but no adapters in Sydney.
(Actually, one of the better stores has the Voigtlander leica to m4/3rds adapter on their webshop)

B&H has a couple of different adapters for FD. They have top notch service...fast shipping...I get my stuff delivered in less than 24 hours from New York to Houston. Although...I don't use novelty manual lenses on my state-of-the-art GH1.
