M42 adaptor advice.

I just picked up a Helios-44 lens for 15 quid (along with the Zenit-B it was attached too), its not a 44-2 or other, it is the original 44 from 1966/67 I believe. I've been looking at various M42 adaptors for Micro four thirds, and the price range is really large. I've wanted to use soviet glass and M42 lenses in general for a while and this is my first foray into using them. Can anyone recommend any M42 adaptors, and nope I'm not about to spend 150 quid on a novoflex, even if I do plan to buy more M42 lenses. I found this option http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/M42-Lens-Micro-4-3-adapter-E-P2-PL1-P1-G1-G2-GF1-GH1-/120586412517 which is incredibly cheap, so it's probably not great, however after reading about chinese rigs on here you never know. Anyone here got experience mounting M42 lenses on GH1 or GH2s ?

I don't know about that one, but I ordered all my Rokkor adaptors from Rainbowimaging in N.Y. and they are OK and very cheap. Shipping to Europe was fast too. Just ordered mine for a Helios-44 from them too, got the lens on the way and looking forward to it.

Just bear in mind that the M42 adapter I got from RI did not have the necessary lip to depress the auto aperture pin on the Helios.

He was good enough to take it back and perhaps he has fixed that issue with later batches.

Not a problem with the lens I have, its a very early 44 and it doesn't have the auto aperture pin.
