Lowest temp. that DVX will work well???

I may be going to a a very northern location in Canada for a week. Very much in the middle of nowhere. Most of the time we will be outdoors in the elements but we will be indoors in a small cabin to sleep. What is the lowest temp. that my DVX 100A will work smoothly in?
Does anyone know if there have been any documented tests in this regard?

Thank you

There have been some pretty recent threads on this subject. Search the forums.
I've had my dvx 110b out in temps close to 0 F without problems. If you looking at lower temps you might want to get a polar mitten.

As we in Canada know ... there is dry cold and there is wet cold ... humidity also makes a difference ... i just got a HPX170 .... I think I saw something about temperatures in the manual ... I haven't used it outside yet!

I was actually just up in canada during that arctic chill a couple of weeks back, we were shooting at Mt. Tremblant and before windchill it was between -35 and -40 before windchill; my camera was alright the LCD was slow but any screen will get slow.

My one piece of advice is extra batteries and contact gloves, if you aren't careful with the top handle you might end up sticking to your DVX a little more then the usual DVX love.
