C100: Loving the Zeiss 50mm makro so far

Glad I sprung for the new lens for the C100. Between the Zeiss and the Sigma 18-35 I rarely use anything else anymore. I guess the 24-105 will stay for now for RnG type work, but the Zeiss is just a pleasure to work with. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice 50mm.
Here is a shoot I did last weekend with it, I would just skim, it's pretty boring, but shows off the lens, at almost infinity.

Profile with CINELog.
The crop shots are just cropped in with Vegas.

Also a screengrab of a video with it.
Love to show more samples of it, unfortunately the rest are NSFW.
I'm going to do a sample video of the Zeiss 50mm F2 makro with the CINELog / Cine / WDR sometime soon if anyone is interested in those types of things.

Gorgeous lens, wish I had the dosh for one. Might have to settle for the nifty fifty :furious3:

Was watching your vid the other day, great quality!

The image from that lens looks sweet. I'm in the market for a nice portrait / interview lens but can't make up my mind. The Zeiss is out of my price range unfortunately. :(

zeiss CY 50mm t1.7 is very sharp and very cheap.....

How do you feel about the sigma 18-35 and 50mm in terms of color matching?

I haven't noticed anything significant as far as the color, but I do like to tweak to preference in post. I didn't notice anything last time I used both lenses in the same shoot, but that being said, I wasn't looking for anything either. Only thing I noticed was the off reds in the CINELog profile.

I have a ZF set, and various other L lenses, the 50mm MP is by far my favorite. The only annoying characteristic is its kinda extreme breathing.
