LOST P2 Footage

This seems to have been a huge mistake. I am new to the HVX and P2 system and when reading in the manual how to offload it to a harddrive it mentions formatting. So I go through the P2 menus and press format and EVERYTHING clears. Is there any way to get that back or did I just commit a terrible error?

ANY help appreciated.
 
I hope it's not important footage , Getting it back is like trying to bring the dead back to life. I think you commited a terrible error.
 
Might be possible with a data recovery service assuming you haven't done much with the drive since formatting. But that's $2K to $3K. Is your footage worth that?

I might be able to help you but you have to send your P2 cards to me to look at. Where are you located? It would be easier if you are local, you can come to my place and check it out together. There is some fees + + shipping but a lot cheaper than those hard drive recovery will charge you. PM me if interested.
