Lost 6DB

Hopefully a quickie

My workflow is this..

-record on camera using Dolby sound setting (not using this setting means clipwrap does not work)

-clipwrap - mpegstreamclip - prores - FCP

Any sound that gets above -6db is getting clipped somewhere down the line

Any ideas?

Getting normalized somewhere? I don't use clipwrap or mpeg streamclip but sounds like there's a normalize checkbox somewhere...

Its like the peaks are just getting lopped off.. Ill investigate normalization .. thanks
