Saw that. Blackmagic definitely helping out low budget filmmakers... Blackmagic and Nikon are smart with their timing given the fx5 delays. They will definitely lure some people away...

I understand the 6k and other entry level price reductions, but the Pyxis is 12k and fx5 are so far apart in terms of how they approach images. I guess everyone is competing but they seem like opposite ends of the spectrum.

Yeah, I have a buddy with a pyxis 12k and it has a great image, but in terms of how I work a total mismatch.
