Looking for some samples of Canon XA20 Over cranking using the slow and fast motion

Hi All

I'm thinking of getting the XA20 for shooting sport and at the same time capture my granddaughter growing up! I'm very interested in the over cranking feature that is built into the camera after looking at the review Philip Bloom did.
I've been searching the web for some decent footage to see what can be done with this camera but cant seem to find anything worth looking at other than crappy test videos that don't really show me what I want to see.

Dose anyone have any links to some Sport samples shot in the slow motion mode (in camera over cranking)?

I would be very interested in any recommended Vimeo links also, I find the content on Youtube to be somewhat indexed incorectly (if that makes sense). There seems to be far more professionally produced content available on Vimeo for some reason.

I recently bought the XA20 & have only used it for 1 day. Great little camera with a beautiful image but i'll be buggered if I can work out how to shoot overcranked. I have read the manual sooo many times & I just cannot workout how to get the frame rate screen to unlock. Youtube hasn't helped much either. Does anyone know how to activate this in camera feature?

Ok after some more research & head scratching, I have worked out the overcranking! I won't get a chance to post any footage up for a few days or a week but if you are in no rush I can do some slowmo test footage soon & post it.

That would be really cool! One thing I did read is that when you enable the slow motion mode a lot of features that are normally available are disabled! Things like auto focus, face tracking, Image capture and so on..

I'll check that all out & let you know. I know that you can't record audio when overcranking. I will shoot some stuff over the weekend & post it up early next week.

Face tracking & image capture are disabled. Zoom works so does auto focus but no audio is recorded. Hope that helps you.

Picture quality is bang on from the XA20, I love the overcrank feature and would love to see some more action footage if anyone has any links!
