I know the odds of finding it here are 1 in a billion, but earlier tonight, christmas day, a few friends and i got jumped in downtown Harrisburg Pennsylvania. They stole my dvx100b and my friends Sony VX2000 and Century Mk1 fisheye. If any of you are from the central PA area and you find 2 black males, or anyone for that matter, trying to sell either of these cameras, please contact me ASAP. Thank you all.

that sucks man! Some people are just worthless human beings, I hope they get caught and serve some time. Hope you can get your gear back.

If you have your serial numbers than the cops will check the pawn shops and local fencing places when they do their monthly sweep. If y ou don't have that info, there's not much the fuzz can do. My buddy learned the hardway on this, so I went ahead and noted down all of my serial numbers and engraved it onto some of the more "pocketable" elements.

Excellent advice!!! Though don't trust the police to check the pawn shops, do it yourself. I made the mistake of waiting for them; turns out one of my stolen items was pawned not 1 mile from where they stole it. Everything else was recovered, because I had the serial numbers and reported them stolen.

That's a terrible thing to happen. Especially at Christmas. Were you held up at gunpoint? I wish they put remote detonation devices on cameras.

well i'm pretty sure one of them had either a gun or a knife in their pocket. I PM'd the guy i bought it from, if any of you can contact TJ Krusinski that would be great! I asked him for the serial # hoping he has it but he has't gotten back to me yet.

You can also check the pawn shops yourself.
Make a day of it and hit every one listed in your local phone book.
Might be worth your time.

i just did, only 3 in the area and i called and left messages for all of them, i'm pretty sure this robbery wasn't about the money seeing as how they smashed my buddies camera over his car
