Looking for learning videos for DSLR cinematography

[robertwerden]

I have been trying to find videos on learning cinematography for DSLR.

I was really hoping for something that covers very basic topics like choosing shutter speeds, iso and other basics.

If you have any links please share them.

Robert, Shane Hurlbut (DP for Terminator Salvation) is really into DSLR shooting right now and has put a few things up about it on his Vimeo page: http://vimeo.com/hurlbutvisuals/videos .

I have done some work with the 5D camera (mostly commercials) and have learned it all on my own. I haven't found too many "helpful" videos on the internet, mostly just people shooting a video about their DSLR who have no training or experience with shooting video of any kind. If you have any specific questions you can post them here and I'm sure someone will be able to answer them for you.

Best of luck!

Philip Bloom has a few videos on shooting with DSLR cameras.

I co-wrote a book on DSLR film making that has gotten great reviews.

It also has a video dvd with 6 hours of tutorials.

You can get it on Amazon and read other's reviews here:
