with a Vinten Vision Blue head and think the rig is the bee's knees for quick moving work in the field with a lightweight camera. I especially like the ability to go very, very low with the Miller legs.
The second link in Allan's message is the same legs with a heavier duty Miller head. That would be a better choice if your rig is over 8 - 9 pounds.
(Comparing these to the Manfrotto, though, the folded length isn't all that much less, just an inch or so difference, so it might not really be what you're looking for.)
I'd suggest looking at a Gitzo series 3 or 5 tripod. Lots of different options and sizes, that fold to under 2 feet. One of the Series 5 tripods folds to 1.6 feet and supports up to 88lbs
The Sachtler Ace might be a good choice. Well reviewed, haven't tried one. They were backordered when I tried, and I grabbed one of those $140 "fancier" jobs from Amazon when I needed a 3rd set of sticks for one gig. A year ago. Still use the damn thing, it's pretty shocking for the $$.
