I own a 60D and today I bought the h4n I'm looking for a inexpensive rig/cage where I can mount gear and recommendations?

Look for the CPM Film Tools, there are several great quality, affordable, light and strong configurations; and DVXUsers member have a 10% discount.

Cory Easom at Easom Optics is making some great cages. Easy to mount arms and externals. Below is the Halo and me 7D.

I'd LOVE to get an Easom but it seems impossible to even order one, the website has been hacked AGAIN, the Facebook page is full of people raging about the non existent service, yet I still want one.

How the hell did you get yours ??

Did you try his email? coryeasom at yahoo.com. I can't complain about his service. He kept me posted on the issues and when it shipped.

I almost ordered from Easom once, but I came across a pretty bad thread over at Cinema5D. A lot of fulfillment complaints (as in fulfillment never happened), and then someone representing Easom chimed in with accusations against the customer and the whole thing wasn't very pretty. I don't want to introduce undue negativity, especially since I have no experience in ordering their products, but I'd be weary and do my research before dealing with them.

I would vote for the sidewinder advanced, that cpm filmtools provide. Its a bloody awesome tool, ive got one over here in the UK, and have been using it to great effect on a feature im shooting. Damned beautiful piece of gear - and if that sounds like a plug - well duh it is! If your using a DSLR for example, the fluidity of movement and functionality is great, - i am quite happy rack focusing wiht it too - (maybe im just nimble) lol - anyway great tool

I've got one of the Proaim cages with top handle and really like it. The price is great and so is the build quality. I find one cage bracket is sufficient, but it comes with 2. And it has mounting points around the bracket for attaching accessories, like a monitor arm. Also comes with 2 sets of rods, short and long.
