Looking for a dslr with unlimited continuous shooting mode

I was looking at the 7d which can shoot 8fps, but it turns out only for 20 frames or so. Are there any HDSLR's that can shoot around 8fps until the card fills up?

it's not the camera, but the storage, that sets the limit here

the 7D will fill a the card at 8fps if you shoot JPG instead of RAW and use a fast card

shooting RAW, at 25MB per image, you'd need something that mantains a 200MB/s write speed; no SD or CF card will do that; even many SSDs will fall short!!

Any of the high end cameras will do faster then 8fps continuous shooting, but at a price.
The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV (10fps, 28 raw limit), Nikon D3s (9-11fps, 40 raw limit), Nikon D700 (5fps, 8fps with grip for 20 raw limit), etc.
But you want a more affordable model, then look at sub professional cameras like:
Nikon D7000 (6fps-UNLIMITED), Sony Alpha A55 (10fps, or 6fps-UNLIMITED), Nikon D300S (8fps with grip for 17 raw limit), K-5 (7fps for 40 raw limit).

To answer your main question, NO.
Slightly slower fps, then there are plenty.

What do you need to shoot continuously at 8fps for? You may want to look at an industrial or machine vision camera, that would need to be tethered to a computer.

I've worked with machine vision cameras before, i would need a team of engineers to get one of them to work.

Just some motion controlled stuff, which would allow me to effectively shoot 5k at 24fps for under a few thousand dollars.
