Hi All
Have a C300 Mkii which I bought used for a bargain price. As always, bargain prices equal bargain problems! In this case, the scratch audio isn't working and it sounds as if it's clipping even when the sound is relatively low. So does anyone use any good repair shops? I'd like to avoid the outfit in Brentford because the last time I had something in for repair, their comms were poor so I didn't know when I'd get it back. Taking time is fine but poor comms isn't.
I'm hoping it's just a question of reinstalling pres.
Otherwise, can anyone recommend an independent Canon repairer out there who can have a look at this?
SW of London (e.g. Shepperton would be perfect) or somewhere on the S Coast. Or anywhere in-between really.
