R robfilms Veteran Dec 10, 2006 #3 14 feet isn't much. i might need more i've never used a firewire repeater. do they work well? degrade the signal at all? i just did a fast google search and there is a firewire repeater product that says it can add a 33 foot length. think that is true? now 33' + 14' = 47' and that would be more than enough. thoughts? and buy the way, what does 33' of firewire cable go for? again, thanks in advance be well rob
