I use that exact eSATA express card on my laptop with a Thecus 2050 enclosure.
It's cheaper at www.newegg.com though, if I remember correctly. It works great for me so far. Been using it for about 3 months now. Several different raid options. And the Thecus is a two bay enclosure that is software free. Just flip a switch for raid 1 or 0
