I hear there is a way to log footage live in FCP while shooting. Not actually capturing, just setting I's and O's. After the shoot, you can somehow sync the logged clips with the actual footage from the P2.
Is anyone familiar with this approach or have another that achieves a similar outcome of logging while shooting?
I am using an HPX170 to shoot several short interviews form which our writer (who will be present at the shoot) will want to extract only certain parts, so this process would help us save money and time in post.
