hello. i am a fcs2 user who films with xha1 and hv20. my question is:
if i film with xha1 and log the footage with my hv20, will there be any quality loss in the logged video?
the reason is that i want to spare the videoheads on my xha1, besides that i dont want to occupy the best of the two cameras...

thanks for any input

Actually, using the HV20 as a deck for the A1 is a common practice. Because the tape data is digital, there's no loss in resolution. Also, the HV20 can play back Canon's 24f and 30f modes.

Signal (even 25F) is the same. But the connection is more snappy with the A1 and FCP 6.
