Hi Barry and everybody
Previously, I have been using this workflow with no problems:
1. Connect HVX202 to mac using firewire
2. Create new folder in external HDD
3. Drag n Drop
4. After finish copying and ready to edit, I open my FCP 6.0.2, then open Log and transfer, select the new folder and transfer with no problem.
But recently I have upgraded my FCP and P2 drivers ( but not the firmware yet bcause I dont have a SD card), and I follow Barry's proper P2 offload procedure. So I use P2CMS, following the procedure. After I have export the clips to a new folder, I open my FCP 6.0.3 and open Log and Transfer. But this time the "import" is not functioning. I have tried check and unchecking the removal pulldown, but still nothing happens. It's as if FCP cannot read the raw files. So, not knowing what to do, I just import the MXF files directly by clicking File>Import. I don't think this is the best way. I'm sure i am missing something and there are thing that i don't know. So, if anybody or Barry can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
In short:
