Log and Transfer does not pick up P2 using DSA

I have a 16GB P2
I am using a duel systems adapter
I have updated firmware and downloaded all drivers mentioned on this forum
The P2 card shows up on the desktop
When I hit Log and Transfer in FCP 6.1 nothing happens
When doing the same with the HVX connected via firewire the content would be picked up by FCP.
Am I missing a step?
 
I guess I am going to have to pause a bit more before posting . . . the problem was simple . . .
I assumed that the card in slot 1 was recording but it was not so I plugged an empty card into the duel systems adapter. I forgot>>>>> first P2 plugged in starts recording regardless of the slot.
 
You can assign the SLOT SEL function to one of the USER buttons to toggle between the two cards/slots. You can't change the active card/slot while recording, but you can do it in standby mode.
