Ok it's really simple and basic but it is something I wish my dvx had. This would be especially useful when shooting up into the skyline from low on the ground. I find myself doing this often and I have the viewfinder positioned straight up and when following the action it will sometimes drift down making framing tough. I was thinking something along the lines of pull to lock and push to release on the viewfinder itself.
I don't even see any viewfinders in any of the pics of the RED camera though only lcd's? If so silly me and dumb idea.
